We’re excited to launch our new website with improved ways for everyone to see our events, our news, and even shop directly online!
As social media platforms become increasingly hostile to businesses and content creators by forcing compliance with new AI model building, biometric data harvesting, and algorithm-chasing, we’ve been more interested in finding an alternative home for our online presence. Expanding our website from a simple splash page launch board to a fully functioning web store seemed like the right choice.
But it turns out E-commerce options for bookstores either have incredibly long waitlists or are incredibly expensive. Several thousands of dollars worth of expensive. We simply don’t have that kind of cash or the time to wait. So as per usual, we leaned into our “scrappiness” and did our best with what we have available. And Ta-dah! Here it is!
At launch, you’ll find a little over 100 of what we consider to be “core” inventory titles - ones that we think are perfect for our store and that we try to restock regularly. This selection is not exhaustive by any means. But it was exhausting to figure out how to get the online store set up, which limited our ability to fill it with all the titles we’d like. Please keep checking back for new titles every week as we add more to the collection!
